[Mutually Symbiotic, Public Relational, "Channels of Living", Clue Gathering, Rewards-Based 13-Point Collaboration Spanning the Temporal Region of 19 October, 2009 Through 9 December, 2009] Project for Millie Chen's Installation: Urban Space Course at the University at Buffalo Department of Visual Studies, Fall 2009
What's Going On?:
I am in a collaborative relationship with 13 members (The 13) of Millie Chen's Installations: Urban Space Course. The 13 are installing site specific installations around Buffalo, NY at different times from November 30th to December 9th 2009. I am implanting small pieces of my installation into The 13's installations. The 13 will grant me the allowance to occupy a portion of their space and in return I will aid their projects in various ways. Tit for tat.
My Installation:
Will be collected over time and space. A number of physical and virtual clues will be placed in/around/on The 13's individual installations. They and members of the general public have the opportunity to collect the clues. If enough clues are collected and the final location of my installation is deciphered the successful participants will be handsomely rewarded on site.

What's Gut Flora?:
Gut flora
are micro organisms that live in the intestines of humans and are vital to survival. Gut Flora have a mutually beneficial symbiotic
relationship with their host that's referred to as a mutualism. This mutualism is analogous to the relationship I hold with The 13. As the Gut Flora assist with prolonging the life of their hosts, I will assist with prolonging the life The 13's ephemeral projects with this web site.

1. To report and document the development of The 13's installations (a byproduct of our mutualism).
2. To provide times/dates/locations to access these installations and gather clues.
